Riley Sue Johnson was born alongside her twin sister Tori in the winter of 89’. A true free spirit and lover of life, she is always looking forward to the next adventure. Riley is the founder of Bitch Botanicals which she started in 2020. Her interest in herbal medicine came from days living in San Francisco with her best friend where they would concoct fire cider and elderberry syrup for the winter months. In 2014 after experiencing a mystery skin condition, which she later discovered was shingles, she was left with major scarring on one side of her face. Through multiple failed attempts to fix it through conventional means, she decided to try her hand at creating her own all natural herbal facial oil. After seeing impressive & healing results, she decided to offer her creation to friends and family who were experiencing scarring, acne, or aging in their skin. It wasn’t long before the demand grew greater, along with her desire to learn more about herbal medicine. Riley graduated from Minneapolis Community and Technical College in the Spring of 2021 with a certificate in herbal medicine. She has now created over 15 different herbal products ranging from skin care to immune boosting tonics.
